Responsibilities
Coordination of Improvement Projects
• Initiate, structure, and lead manufacturing and assembly improvement projects
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics)
• Monitor deadlines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Report project status to the management team
Implementation of Lean and Operational Excellence Tools
• Introduce and sustain Lean methodology and tools, including:
o 5S
o Kaizen
o SMED (tool change optimization in injection moulding)
• Conduct waste analysis (muda, OEE losses, scrap, downtime)
• Improve cycle times and process stability
Optimization of Injection Moulding and Assembly Processes
• Coordinate OEE improvement programs
• Lead scrap reduction initiatives
• Optimize material usage
• Identify automation and efficiency improvement opportunities
• Support layout optimization projects
Performance Management and KPIs
• Develop and maintain KPI systems (OEE, scrap %, PPM, cycle time, changeover time, productivity)
• Support data-driven decision-making
• Coordinate root cause analyses (8D, A3, 5 Why)
Support of OEM Requirements
• Support preparation for customer audits
• Ensure process stability in an IATF 16949 environment
• Strengthen continuous improvement culture in line with automotive standards
Change Management and Culture Development
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization
• Organize workshops and training sessions
• Share best practices
• Engage employees in improvement initiatives
Scope of Responsibility
• Effectiveness of manufacturing efficiency improvement projects
• Operation and sustainability of the Lean system
• Achievement of project KPIs
• Adherence to project deadlines
• Application of structured problem-solving methods
Requirements
• University degree in Engineering or related field
• Approx. 10 years of experience in a similar position at manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
• Project management experience
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Structured and analytical mindset
• Proactive approach
• Confident communication at all organizational levels
