On behalf of our Client, one of the biggest humanitarian organizations in the world, we are looking for a Junior Analyst , Digital Product Portfolio Performance to their Budapest-based IT Services Unit.

The Digital product portfolio performance analyst primary role is to analyse the utilisation of all internal and external resources for IT and formulate recommendations for optimalization ITs total spend across the globe.
The incumbent will support the development of business value cases for digital products and services, formulation of business value case KPIs and post-monitoring of the products’ and services’ against these KPIs. He/she will also support establishing global framework agreements with technology suppliers, by analysing digital products cost structures and service arrangements and providing the necessary insights for strategic decisions.

What you’ll be doing

• Optimize IT spend:
- Provide analysis in IT spend by category, organisational entity and geography and formulate recommendations to optimize our partner's global IT sourcing strategy and spend;
- Support the development of key performance indicators as part of the business value cases for digital products and services, including the establishment of key performance indicator monitoring mechanisms.
- Identify, review and analyse variances and trends on individual products and services performance, and of the portfolio as a whole.
- Build and provide intelligence and expertise on IT spend mapping versus the supplier base, the market and best practices, and identify opportunities, develop and launch initiatives as part of the sourcing strategy.
- Execute DT finance function, including monitoring different cost centers and expenditures, service recharges and optimize the internal DT financial performance management.
- Execute and support the departmental planning, budgeting and resourcing processes.
- Act as focal point to manage the optimization and renewal of all technology contracts
• Support sourcing and supplier management:
- Lead DTs administrative role in major tender processes working together with Procurement
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure best value for money terms, and develop and maintain a quality-driven preferred supplier list.
- Provide technical and administrative guidance as requested/required during the process of negotiating contracts with new suppliers.
- Oversee technology lifecycles, maintain required approval processes.
- Support stakeholders in their sourcing activities and supplier management on an ad hoc basis
- Act as the primary point for third party suppliers where required.
- Maximise supplier performance by consistently monitoring and reporting on service performance.
- Ensure services and invoices are consistent with the terms of the contracts.
• Shared responsibilities
- Together with business users define the Service Level Agreements in contracts and ttogether with the Service and Planning teams develop and monitor the technology lifecycles.
- Collaborate with Digital, Service and Planning teams on business value case formulation and feasibility analysis of product production and maintenance.
• Contribute to the building of an effective, high-quality, fit-for-purpose Digital Transformation Department
- Collaborate effectively with Secretariat’s Divisions’ and DTD colleagues to fulfil key responsibilities and to ensure the successful delivery of key deliverables to ensure the effective delivery of objectives pertaining to the partner's strategy, Agenda for Renewal and Strategy 2030.
- Ensures effective communication and feedback flows with relevant stakeholders, creating a working environment with stakeholders that creates understanding and acceptance of decisions.
- Act as resource and contact person on global technology providers and framework agreements for Membership. Build and maintain relationships with colleagues within the membership with similar responsibility and share expertise and knowledge freely as and where required.
- Partner with regional and divisional staff members to develop data and insights.
- Be accountable to the Manager Planning Unit on progress made and delivery, providing data for reporting from the department.
- Be a pro-active and dynamic team member, supporting operational content areas and/or organizational and process change.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including NSs, peer organizations, participate in communities of practice and professional associations.
- Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager.

What you need to have:

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience
• A minimum of 2 years progressively responsible relevant professional experience and minimum of 1 years within the RC RC Movement and/ or international humanitarian or development organisations.
• Experience in financial planning, monitoring and analysis.
• Experience in management and administration of IT resources, and contract management and negotiation
