Position summary: As a calculator / project controller, you are responsible for the precise calculation of product costs and the management of financial aspects, including development costs and capital expenditure (CapEx), as part of our projects. Your main task is to carry out detailed calculations and analyzes of product costs and project economics to ensure the efficiency and competitiveness of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed product cost calculations taking into account material costs, labor costs, manufacturing costs and other relevant factors
• Analysis of cost structures to identify potential cost savings along the entire product life cycle
• Monitoring project profitability within acquisitions and the further product life cycle
• Work closely with project managers to set cost targets and continually monitor these targets throughout the development process
• Prepare reports and presentations to demonstrate product costs and project economics and illustrate their impact on profitability to management and relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

• Completed degree in industrial engineering or similar and initial professional experience in a comparable position
• Sound knowledge of cost and process cost accounting as well as extensive experience in investment accounting and business case modeling
• Experience in calculating plastic and rubber parts is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a goal-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills, commitment and initiative
• Fluent written and spoken English and German skills, as well as willingness to travel
