Your future tasks will be...
· As part of our Vendor Advisory Services (VAS) team, you will support German‑speaking and international sales teams by providing technical and commercial presales expertise across a broad multi‑vendor IT portfolio.
· You will act as a key interface between Sales, Vendors and internal delivery teams, supporting the end‑to‑end offer lifecycle with a strong focus on commercial viability and customer requirements in the German market.
On a daily basis
· You provide technical and commercial presales support for sales opportunities, primarily for German-speaking customers.
· You coordinate vendors, including leading manufacturers such as Cisco, HPE, and Dell.
· You support solution design with a clear focus on commercial fit, pricing structure, and feasibility.
· You actively contribute to offer preparation, including solution descriptions, BOM logic, and pricing with a strong understanding of cost drivers and margin awareness.
· You translate sales and customer requirements into commercially viable IT solutions.
· You collaborate closely with Sales, Architects, Vendor Managers, and Delivery teams.
· You participate in workshops, bid support, and enablement activities.
You are the ideal candidate if...
· You have transferable experience in IT, for example in Customer Service or an Internal Sales role.
· You have a strong commercial understanding, including pricing logic, cost drivers, margin awareness, and commercial structures in IT offers.
· You have solid IT knowledge (infrastructure, cloud, workplace and/or managed services).
· You have experience working with vendors or partners in a presales environment.
· You have the ability to balance technical feasibility with commercial requirements.
· You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
· You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
