Overview:
We are seeking a Vendor Master Data Specialist for a part-time role, primarily working in the afternoons to support our North American region. This role involves significant responsibilities in recording, validating, and maintaining vendor master data within the SAP Cloud HANA system, adhering to audit controls and ensuring data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Master Data Management: Record and validate a substantial volume of vendor master data. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with audit controls.
Collaboration: Work closely with vendors and internal business partners to validate and update data. Maintain effective communication to resolve data-related issues.
Data Validation: Apply knowledge of general vendor master data (VMD) background information, including bank codes, payment types, etc., to ensure accurate data entry.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues related to vendor data, and respond effectively to incoming inquiries.
Handling Sensitive Data: Manage and work with sensitive data requiring careful attention and confidentiality.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience with SAP systems is required. Familiarity with SAP HANA is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to follow through on tasks. Effective handling and validation of data are essential.

Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and business partners. The role involves working closely with three key team members.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time position requiring 4 hours of work per day, primarily in the afternoon.
