English Speaking Application Support Specialist (PE-11873)
Our L1.5 team performs a unique task, sitting between our Service Desk function and a newly integrated level 2 supplier that provide subject matter expertise for the customer.
We provide Application Support expertise for multiple countries and languages across an array of business applications that often interface to one another. These can be Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, iProcurement, General Ledger, Product Lifecycle Management, Order Management and any interface that operates across the customer systems.
The team do not provide configuration of the applications/platforms but has the ability and access to research, evidence issues that can be escalated to L2.
What you’ll be doing:
-- Management of complex customer applications. These applications include Oracle E-Business Suite, Quest and customers own in-house solution Gideons.
-- Resolve issues that the Service Desk cannot whilst providing fixes for issues that do not need to be directed to level 2 specialist support analysts.
-- Provide exceptional technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
-- Support will be provided via phone, chat and e-mail
-- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
-- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize Oracle solutions.
What you need to have:
-- You have SQL, PL/SQL, General Oracle EBS knowledge of Concurrent Managers, Profiles, Descriptive Flexfields, Printing & Architecture.
-- You have excellent communications & collaboration skills (written & verbal).
-- You have ability to problem solve and learn other applications & interfaces.
-- You are a real team player with a drive to innovate and delight customers
-- You have excellent English is skills, any other EU language is an advantage.
