Our client is a prestigious multinational company with worldwide presence, for which we are looking for Accounts Receivable Accountant to their Budapest-based Center.

What you’ll be doing:

– Perform the Accounts Receivable work connected to nominated country(s) and report it to Closing and Reporting Manager
– Responsible for one or more Accounts Receivable country as accountant
– Reconciliations of Accounts Receivable Subledger
– Active participation in Migration and report to Closing and Reporting Manager to ensure completeness and correctness of taken over tasks for Accounts Receivable
– Handle incoming payment matching
– Handle customer reminder “Dunning” process
– Flexibility in traveling during and after migration
– Report Accounts Receivable process status of the nominated country(s) to the related Closing and Reporting Manager
– Active participation in standardization and optimization of Accounts Receivable processes
– User of ERP system and Bank system in the nominated country(s)
– Process check requests
– Match bank statements for incoming payment to subledger, research and solve discrepancies
– Close co-operation with Local Credit Management team in the nominated country(s)
– Assist in month end closing

What you need to have:

– 0-2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
– High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
– Must have strong work ethics
– Must be well organized and a self-starter
– Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
– Proficient in Excel and Word
– SAP knowledge is a plus
– Multinational environment experience is a plus
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
– Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
– Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
– Intermediate level of English in spoken and written language
– Intermediate level of German in spoken and written language (only who works for Germany or Switzerland) is an advantage
