For our multinational client who provides various IT services, we are looking for new candidates to a Payroll Team Leader (maternity cover) position.

What you’ll be doing:

As Payroll Team Leader, you will be in charge of:
• Applying strategic and business targets to HR processes, products and services in one or more of the following areas: Compensation and benefit, Payroll
• Participating in the development of processes/products/services to support business strategies and correct payroll
• Running and coordinating the entire payroll process for Hungary done by our third party provider, controlling on Czech, Polish payroll activities
• Supporting the change of initiatives from our company’s wide perspective – Carries out complex and specialised activities/projects
• Educating team members in relation to payroll and general Hungarian laws and regulation
• Acting as a first point of contact for our payroll provider
• Ensure pro-active performance management, the Team is properly trained to perform the activities defined, understand the organizational goals and the unit strategy
• Consciously coach, plan and manage the aspirations of the associates

What you need to have:

Soft skills:
• Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements
• Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes during delivering a service
• Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group settings to achieve common goals
• The ability to convey information to someone effectively and efficiently while creating a good first impression and engaging the audience
• Ability to comprehend and to systematically organize the various aspects of a problem or situation
• Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision
• Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation
• Ability to meet strict deadlines & work under pressure is an advantage

Professional skills:
• Project Management knowledge is an advantage
• Deep knowledge of Hungarian laws and regulation (labour, payroll)
• Advanced knowledge of excel
• At least 3 years of experience at multinational companies is an advantage
• Great understanding of payroll processing

Language skills:
• English on a fluent level
