On behalf of our multinational partner, we are searching for candidates for the following position: Senior GL Accountant.

This associate is the leading provider of advanced graphical system design tools and off-the-shelf hardware platforms for the design, implementation and deployment of sophisticated software-defined instrumentation, automation and real-time embedded systems.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial close process and ensure timely reporting of monthly financial results
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet flux
• Bank reconciliation and corresponding journal entries
• Run monthly revaluation for non-functional currency
• Run monthly mass allocation
• Prepare surveys/filings such as Central bank survey, statistical survey, etc
• Liaise with external auditors for local audit
• Liaise with Local Services Providers to support local statutory compliance for entities

Qualifications needed:

• Degree in Accountancy or any equivalent accounting professional qualification
• 5-7 years relevant working experience in Accounting and Statutory Reporting
• IFRS or HU GAAP knowledge
• Effective communication skills with good spoken and written English and Hungarian
• Independent, assertive, creative and ready to work in a changing environment
• Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines
