IT Asset Management Specialist (LJ-11555)

Our client is a global, family-owned German company that develops market-leading solutions for the solar and automotive industries. They are looking for a IT Asset Management Specialist to their Budapest-based office.

The work can be managed full remotely – with time-to-time office presence – from any location in Hungary.

Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
• Manages the entire hardware and software leasing with regards to the product lifecycle (leasing, deployment, maintenance,
utilization and disposal) including accounting
• Establishes and maintains and monitors hardware/software inventory database to ensure compliance
• Devise licensing / leasing strategy in cooperation with headquarter
• Stays in contact with external Service provider for Workplace Systems.
• Provide commercial support for the negotiation of new or renewed (leasing) contracts and identifies savings opportunities for
renewals, software licensing, and hardware
• Ensure invoices are consistent with the terms of the contract; track and renew hardware and software maintenance agreements
and warranties
• Procurement, receipt, inventory and provisioning of software and hardware
• Review and revise standard equipment configuration policies
• Meter and review software and hardware utilization and make recommendations on requirements
• Performs technology research and routine administrative duties as requested
• Interacts with Finance as appropriate

• Education – University degree preferably in business administration (or comparable qualification/experiences).
• Job knowledge/Technical skills – Possesses significant current technical knowledge of IT hardware and software. Proven track record of IT inventory management.
• Experiences in tools supporting HW Asset Management like BMC Footprints and/or SW Asset Management like SNOW would be appreciated.
• Problem Solving – Solves problems and proactively suggests business opportunities independently.

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential
