On behalf of our multinational Client we are looking for a qualified Global Data Platform Rollout Manager to their Budapest office.

We are looking for a Global Data Platform Rollout Manager who is as passionate about our vision as we are.

This includes the following responsibilities:
– Lead the projects to rollout the Global Data Platform (GDP) to our internal customers out of the platform team
– Gather, validate and prioritize client needs and own and maintain the project plan
– Support our customers in using our platform, according to best practices
– Create a project plan, understand the timeline and the deliverables of the projects
– Identify dependencies towards GDP internal feature development and steer the customization of the platform
– Contribute to Allianz data platform projects as representative and single point of contact from the Global Data Platform (GDP)
– Be the “gatekeeper” for requests coming from the project, and push back unnecessary requests
– Act as “voice of the project” internally in the GDP organization towards the development teams and towards the Product Owners

Requirements
– Master or Bachelor in technical or management areas
– Experience as rollout manager / project manager in a data-driven projects (data platform, data lake, data governance etc.)

– Technical knowledge and general understanding one or more of the following topics (listed in the priority order):
o Requirements of running modern data solutions in production at scale
o Cloud Solutions & Services (e.g. Azure, AWS)
o Linux & Containerization
o Distributed systems (e.g. Spark)
o Data Engineering Pattern (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
o Data Governance Frameworks (e.g. Informatica)
o Event Based systems (e.g. Kafka)
o Knowledge Graph (e.g. Stardog)
o Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
o Workflow orchestration and automation (e.g. Luigi)

– Requirements engineering (preferable in data engineering / big data projects)
– Critical thinking generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, and communication.
– High customer orientation, especially in the context of digital product design processes
– Experience with common agile working tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git)
– DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work)
– Team player open to work in an agile environment
– Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages (e.g. German, French, Italian, etc.) are a plus
