Our multinational research-intensive university is looking for a HR Data and Reporting Specialist to their Budapest-based office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a sound data and analytical basis for HR decision procedures and preparing accurate, properly visualized and timely HR reports for stakeholders. (S)he will have to support the HR department with proper data management, data input, and manage systems (like Nexon), improve HR’s reporting content andquality, while demonstrating timeliness and reliability. The candidate should bring their own initiative regarding HR data management and reporting, as well as cooperation skills to work with all teams.

What you will be doing:

– Working with the designated databases (Nexon, SAP, etc), entering data and updating records as needed
– Supporting HRO operations from a data management point of view (payroll, contracting, monthly cost allocation, etc.)
– HR reporting:
– Preparing HR reports for stakeholders
– Ensuring the reporting is accurate, easy to understand (properly visualized) and is delivered on time
– Providing advice on improving HR reporting in terms of content, visualization and accuracy
– Participating in development of standardized reporting and Business Intelligence solutions to achieve consistency and efficiency.
– Participating in data related improvement and system development projects:
– Identifying and implementing process and system enhancements to better govern and increase integrity of HR data
– Assisting with the roll out of new tools and systems including testing and training tasks
– Acting as a team member in projects within HRO and with other units
– Occasionally acting as project manager of smaller data related projects.
– Providing support in data management:
– Continuously reviewing HR data quality in HR systems
– Providing support with data cleaning
– Performing periodic testing to validate overall data accuracy
– Reviewing settings of systems where data are stored and managed (e.g. Nexon, etc.)
– HR related data mining:
– Creating reports/lists of HR related data and any segmented HR data as requested
– Providing information for specific inquiries
– Contributing to creating training material, preparation and conducting trainings (if applicable) like refreshment trainings for new users
– Delivering small developments to support day-to-day operations
– Identifying issues and risks and reporting them to the direct supervisor with solution recommendations.

What you need to have:

– University degree ideally in Finance, Economics, IT, or any numerical field
– 3-5 years experience in data management and reporting also including data visualization
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
– Ideally working experience with an integrated HR system (SAP, Workday, and/or Nexon)
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word Excel, and Power Point)
– Advanced internal client communication skills
