Purpose of the position
The Business Intelligence Analyst will bring the necessary skill set to help the Data Analytic team and other business units in GSSC to identify data sources, collect data point, analyze data and present it in comprehensive and compelling manner to support the evidence-based decision making process in the center. The work requires close partnering with various subject matter experts from all the GSSC section, such as Finance, HR, Customer Care, IT, Payroll, and other stakeholder consumers of data.
Roles and responsibilities
• Analyze business processes and requirements
• Collaborate with business and technical teams in data collection and analysis
• Develop and manage BI solutions
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
• Provide support to BI solutions through the application life cycle
Required qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience working on data presentation with BI tools
• University degree or any formal training in computer science, information technology, statistics, finance or similar is an advantage
• Expert knowledge of MS PowerBI, Tableau, Crystal Report or any other reporting or data presentation tool is required
• Knowledge of SQL, data structure, Reporting Services, ASP, .NET, XML, is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and expected to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in delivered products, i.e.: dashboards, reports, data analysis, etc.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required
Working hours
This role will follow standard working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 17:30 PM with a total of 40 hours per week. Alternate work schedules and working hours are possible based on supervisory agreement. Working schedules will be confirmed by employer when requesting job assignments.
