Purpose of the position
The RPA Developer colleague will work together with the Customer Care and the IT team in identifying automation process opportunities while ensuring applicable compliance, quality and documentation standards are met and maintained. The work requires close partnering with various subject matter experts from all the GSSC section, such as Finance, HR, Customer Care, IT, Payroll, and other stakeholders sharing information and ensure an optimal solution to the business.
Roles and responsibilities
• Developing automation based on (documented) business requirements, create ’bot’, procedure and create/maintain all relevant documents in the knowledge base
• Participating in functional testing. Working with the business to document changes to current business practices and assist in process re-engineering and change management planning efforts.
• Mentoring and coaching early adopters of the developed products in business units.
• Providing on-going support including process changes, defect fixes, software upgrades, performance tuning, and other maintenance activities.
• Peer review of robot and automated procedures developed to ensure compliance with internal control/security/audit requirements.
Required qualifications
• Advance knowledge of Winshuttle (including Studio and Evolve versions) is required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or any formal training in engineering, programming, information technology and automation is an advantage
• Programming skills on any RPA platforms i.e.: UiPath, Blue Prism is an advantage
• Programming skills in PowerShell, VBA, VB script, SQL or similar is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Suite of Products (including MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) is required
• Knowledge of MS Visio, project management tools are an advantage
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required
Years of experience is not strictly specified; however, the hiring section would expect the colleague to work independently.
Working hours
This role will follow standard working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 17:30 PM with a total of 40 hours per week. Alternate work schedules and working hours are possible based on supervisory agreement.
