What you’ll be doing:

– Use your professional and technical expertise and experience in the field of acquisition credit risk and in-life behavioural credit scoring to build, implement and test strategies
– Maintain and execute the current and new company credit strategy across the customer base.
– Support the development of the solution strategy and solution standards
– Support the implementation, management and configuration of the decision management systems
– Use wide-ranging knowledge of the industry and specific knowledge of the company to influence teams across the business. Work with the Specialists in specifying requirements for projects and ensuring credit risk systems and strategies are embedded within processes throughout the portfolio
– Support third party relationship management with credit bureaux and with vendors of decision analytic platforms for new and existing customer management
– Build relationshps with internal technical experts to ensure end to end processes, system and strategy development is deliverd on time with minimal to no issues
– Support the Credit Risk teams on Transformational programmes / projects

What you need to have:
Soft skills:
– Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements
– Ability to comprehend and to oversee various aspects of a problem or a situation
– Focusing on all aspects and details of a task and delivering your output with a high level of accuracy
– Ability to find root causes of problems and to focus on their quick and efficient solution

Professional skills:
– System development, translating requirements, implementing and managing decision management platforms (Experian PCO, FICO DMP and Blaze)
– Understanding of credit risk, fraud policies and processes with practical experience in applying Ofcom, FCA, JMLSG and Credit Regulations
– Understanding of credit and risk as a profession, keeping abreast of external trends / innovation through the relevant professional bodies
– Experience of System and Service management, root cause analysis and problem management is an advantage
– Experience of large data file handling, batch control and management, ETL tools (Pentaho) and development of applications (FICO Application Studio) is an advantage

– English on a fluent level
