VMware System Administrator (INT-10753)

We are looking for enthusiastic and agile candidates to the position of VMware System Administrator to our Hybrid Cloud team in Budapest.
Responsibilities:
VMware server platform administrator tasks
Planning (dimensioning) tasks, implementation / change management, operation, administration
Designing and dimensioning VMware configurations with particular regard to functionality, performance requirements, availability, redundancy, and IT security
Installing and configuring VMware vCenter / ESXi hosts in vSphere 6.7 environment
Incident, Change, and Problem Management – Remedy Service Desk / Service Now (Snow)
Monitoring systems, system log entries and troubleshooting
Detecting vulnerabilities, identifying trends, and (if possible) proactively managing them
Contributing to the adjustment and fine-tuning of monitoring and log processing systems
Parallel maintenance of production, test and disaster backup systems (patch management)
Preparation, periodic inspection and maintenance of operational documentation
Observance of the operating procedures of the data centers, keeping the order of inventory on / off
Professional contacts with suppliers, service partners, fault reports, repairs
Compliance with contracted SLA contracts, with particular reference to the Response Time and Time to Restore / Repair parameters.
Requirements
Adequate experience to its L2-L3 position in enterprise environment, in similar position
Skills in IBM Blade systems and rack mounted server technologies
VMware vSphere certified exam(s) (VCP6.x-DCV is expected on L2-L3 support)
ESXI, VCenter management
Knowledge of VMware SRM technology
VSAN
VROPs
vRealize Automation / operations manager knowledge
Basic SAN/LAN knowledge
Proactive approach is expected
Qualifications
University Graduate degree (mandatory)
Knowledge of ITSM tools like Service Now, SIMA, HPSM
Good MS Office knowledge specially MS Excel & Power Point (mandatory)
Prior experience in managing Incidents and Service Requests in an IT infrastructure environment
Confident to interact with the IT Managers, Service Desks and Service Providers in the Region
Excellent command over written and spoken English (mandatory)
Good understanding of Network concept
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
Nice to have
Networking knowledge
Understanding of storage
Understanding of Windows, Linux systems
Understanding of scripting languages, Ansible, Powershell etc
Skills in backup solutions (Networker)
Knowledge of Lenovo/Cisco (HP) blade technology
Working experience within ITIL environment
VMware Cloud knowledge (private/public)
