On behalf of our multinational partner, we are looking for a German speaking Payroll Subject Matter Expert within HR Operations.

We are building a global P&C/HR Center of Excellence by bringing in talented HR professionals in order to cover complex and challenging HR functions and areas.

What you’ll be doing :

As a Payroll Subject Matter Expert – German speaking​ you are part of a dynamic, vivid and spiritful Payroll, Time & Benefits team supporting our German affiliates in Mannheim. The team deliver customer service and advisory support to HR and business partners on global HR/Payroll systems, HR/Payroll, Time & Benefits processes, ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with our customer-focused principles.

• Providing insight, support and explanation on HR/Payroll systems and administrative and advisory activities in the area of Payroll, Time & Benefits services
• Providing customer service/consultation on Payroll, Time & Benefit related activities (advisory, upskilling, inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting)
• Processing of leaves of absence, full and part-time account leaves of absence from the long-term account, cooperation inquiries on the subject of working time, long-term illnesses as well as the associated compensation benefits
• Answering employee requests regarding the pay slip
• Responding to complex queries and internal escalation point for HR specialists
• Reviewing processes related to Payroll for compliance and initiates necessary actions as required
• Providing training on systems, tools and processes and ensures quality of data maintenance through regular reviews and implementation of corrective actions
• Ensuring that requirements for processes and systems are defined, aligned, implemented, tested and communicated
• Contributing to projects, system testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Being a contact person for external and internal auditors within Payroll processes
• Supporting the embedding of the new ways of working, actively participating in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Behaving as role model to team members, showing positive and flexible attitude
• Building relationships with HR colleagues within the PSS organization as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

• Experience in service delivery or customer care environment or HR Operations / HR Services
• Experience in (German) payroll
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
