German Speaking Project Manager (PE-10649)
• Delivering new and complex network-related products and services (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, Cloud, IPT) for major customers globally
• Full responsibility of assigned project with main focus on timely delivery (budget ownership only in special cases)
• Direct SPOC for the end customer, setting up governance and communication structure both internally and externally
• Managing fully virtual teams and vendors across the globe (from US/Brazil to India/Japan/Australia), but main contacts are usually in EMEA timezones
• Managing, mentoring and coaching a group of junior/experienced project managers to deliver a bigger scale of work packages for your customer(s)
• Responsible for supporting and driving the presales phase, transition and transformation of new contracts, as well closure and handover to operational teams
• Dealing with network site migrations, voice platform implementations etc. (possible out of office hour activities)
What you need to have:
Mandatory skills:
• Proven track record in IT/Telco Project management and/or Service Operations on a management level
• Beside typical PM soft skills (customer focus, result orientation, communications, etc.) you need to be really technical-oriented to enjoy the work here
• No need for CCNA or any certificates, but important to have the willingness to understand i.e. details of cabling work in a DC or the difference between the newest products
Nice to have skills:
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• General understanding of MPLS networks and related infrastructure
• Experience in managing changes and CAB meetings
Language skills:
• English on a fluent level is a must
• German on a fluent level is a must
