Requirements:

-- Fluent in written and spoken English (working language),
-- Completed studies in mathematics or (business) computer science (FH, BA) or
comparable qualification
-- Experience in the area of object-oriented application development
-- Experience with common development environments, test methods and software
engineering tools (Eclipse, JUnit, Jira, etc.)
-- Excellent XML & SQL knowledge
-- Very good knowledge of Linux and modern IT infrastructure
-- Capabilities of ABS customer / country layer
-- Good knowledge on ABS core database persistence layer ORBIT, ABS data model and other ABS core architectural concepts like CISL or extension mechanisms
-- ABS release management and deployment process
-- Ability to work independently, high level of commitment, flexibility and resilience
-- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
-- Strong result and quality orientation
-- Technical know-how in insurance industry
-- Quick grasp and conceptual, strategic as well as analytical working skills
-- Ability to independently execute tasks in non-standard (constantly changing) work situations

Skills

-- Coding / programming skills are required, in at least two of the following: Java Rich Client Programming; Eclipse/RCP;OCGI Framework; Junit-test; Swing/SWT; JDBC and JPA
-- Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Microsoft IIS, RSA Archer Suite, SPARX Enterprise Architect, Windows Server
-- Understanding of test management processes and software (e.g. HP Quality Center)
-- IT methodology knowledge (e.g. ITIL)
-- Willingness to work in agile environments
-- Team player mentality (typical project team size is 3 -- 8 people)
