On behalf of our prestigious partner we are looking for a PROCUREMENT MANAGER.

Mission:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring that suppliers of the expense categories or segments he / she
manages are reliable, deliver on time and at the best commercial conditions, the highest quality of goods and services needed by his / her Entity, in compliance with the group rules of conduct concerning relationships with suppliers. He/She drives the realization of savings within the Entity’s budget / action plan by working closely with the users that he / she supports. A segment can be defined either as a sub-category of expense or as a portfolio of key suppliers.

Responsibilities:

To achieve these goals, the Procurement Manager will :
– Implement in his/her Entity the Group’s procurement strategy on his/her segments,
– Define a strategy and action plan on local spend categories or his/her segments,
– Drive the suppliers selection process on local spend categories or his/her segments:
o Challenge the local needs
o Identify a supplier panel complying with our risk policy
o Launch tenders
o Select suppliers through criteria defined before tender launching
o Negotiate prices, discount, bonuses, payment terms, contents
o Prepare contracts and SLA under legal and compliance validation
– Ensure that savings realization is achieved through the negotiated global or local contracts implementation
and that the internal customers are kept satisfied in terms of cost, quality, lead-times and service level of
suppliers.
– Monitor the suppliers’ risk on his or her suppliers portfolio,
– Contribute to internal process changes or improvements that are part of the action plan or necessary for the
optimization of the segment (for instance: demand management…),
– Contribute to cross category sourcing initiatives and global process and tools initiatives when applicable.

Requirements:

– University degree at post graduate level or an advanced training in Procurement or a sales / technical experience in the category.
– 3-5 years relevant experience in procurement
– Fluent in English (written and spoken)
– Suppliers Market knowledge
– Capacity to challenge the internal clients needs, sense of critical analysis,
– Negotiation skills,
– Capacity for defining a procurement strategy (procurement methods and tools),
– Basic knowledge in financial analysis, Legal knowledge
– Project management skills,
– Client service focused, responsiveness, Good interpersonal relationships,
– Excellent communication skills (oral and written),
– Sense of innovation / creativity, Cost and performance improvements focused,
– Ability to motivate / convince
