Technical Team Manager (BM-10460)
Lead a large team and oversee complex network development using innovative approaches to design tools and routines. Will have 13-15 direct reports (span)
Develop close and effective relationships with internal and external customers, vendors, suppliers and employees at senior level, and be able to confidently present information and facilitate negotiations with them.
Forecast supply and demand of resource requirements based on known and unknown business needs. Review ongoing workstack and prioritise with associated resource management.
Drive skills acquisition, development, knowledge sharing and engagement within team
Identify opportunities for Continuous improvement and implement them within the team
Working closely with other teams, decide on transformation approaches including process improvement and standardisation of designs (e.g. system teams, product teams etc.). Improve the designs for delivery of right first time and end to end cost. Deliver repeatability of solutions. Decide on major customer and/or platform escalations and drive to technical resolution.
Delivery of speed of resource mobilisation across teams. Manage escalations across teams. Build budgets and manage to multiple plans.
Solve problems relating to significant developments in network platforms, including the introduction of new technologies or resolution of major issues. Solve problems relating to vendor issues including vendor delivery, interworking and vendor selection
Home office is available in this role depending on further agreement

Industrial accreditation (e.g. Cisco) at professional/expert level in ICT with special focus on IPT or Collaboration is an advantage
Expertise on pre-sales activities, planning and implementations across a wider range of ICT Infrastructure elements (security, wan optimization, load balancing etc.) is an advantage
Experience in creating high quality technical designs, Customer facing proposals and detailed cost models is an advantage
Interpret Customer needs, assessing the full requirements, identifying solutions to standard and non-standard requirements
Relevant experience in project or change management. Proven track record of leading transformation programs
English on a fluent level
German on a conversational level is an advantage
Any European language on a conversational level is an advantage
