Desired Skills & Experience
· Work with UX/UI designers for to construct wireframes, mock-ups, and in an Agile
development process to create Power BI reports
· Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI
· Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
· Create the data model and establish relationships
· Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) & MDX functions for the creation of calculations and
measures in the Tabular Mode & multi-dimensional Cubes.
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for the deployed reporting solutions
· Generate ad-hoc data analysis utilizing Power BI, R, Python, Excel, and/or other tools
· Knowledge and experience with the Power BI REST API
· Establish data level security and object level security
· Establish model used for self-service BI
· Power BI performance tuning, modelling and optimization
· Ability to look at various data load options and suggest an optimal way of proceeding
· Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations and hidden features
· Capacity estimation and planning
· User management and administration
· Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service and Report Server.
· Design, document and develop complex MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.)

· Stay up to date on all new Power BI features and functionalities and find ways to introduce
them to the organization
· T-SQL, SQL – database modeling, design, testing, implementation, and integration.
· Data profiling, and discrepancy analysis
· Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Lakes (Preferably on Azure) and general big data
architecture patterns.
· Experienced in data modelling and integration through extracting, transforming and loading
(ETL) data from various sources
· Experience with OLAP cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services
· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services – Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Warehouse, Delta
Lake, Data Bricks, Azure DevOps Automation
· Knowledgeable in Agile Software Development Methodology
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) along with strong
planning and organizing skills
· Excellent team player, ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience in mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership
· Certified in Power BI is an added advantage
