Duties and responsibilities:

As a critical thinker in an agile and open-source friendly team that has fun in learning new things, you approach tasks with a “getting things done” attitude. The work consists of enhancing the current platform with new features/improvements and helping the developers with day to day tasks.

– You will work remotely within our productivity team to support our RTC Platform developers in multiple geos
– You will help to standardize the JavaScript/TypeScript part of the build system as well as ensure that the CI process runs smoothly at scale
– You will drive automation and integration of our build environment within a larger mono repository and beyond
– You will keep up to date with the JavaScript ecosystem, discuss with the team when and how to introduce new tools/processes
– You will interact with developers, educate them on how to effectively use the repository and identify areas for improvement, that you then plan with the team and execute on
– You will maintain our JavaScript eco-system including native addons (C++)


Degree in computer science or related field
Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Knowledge of JavaScript package management and troubleshooting
Preferably: Knowledge of a build system like CMake or MSBuild
Preferably: Knowledge of another scripting language like Python or Bash
Preferably: Experience with Jenkins
Preferably: Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence) and/or GitHub
Preferably: Experience with container mechanism like Docker
