Enterprise Application Services (EAS) Globe Parts Team Lead is responsible for assisting the business with the design, deployment and application support of SAP EWM solutions. Manages and leads a team of employees and external consultants of his / her own organization.

As a people manager, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct reports, but the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.

Set clear goals with team members, inspires and supports them towards accomplishing goals and evaluates goal achievement in a fair and understandable way.
Motivate team members and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance.
Create an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Actively seeks to coach and help with personal development. Regularly offers feedback in an effort to help others develop. Supports others in setting challenging development goals.
Drive and actively participates in the continuous improvement in EAS.
Actively drives business collaboration, contributes as a stakeholder to long-living, maintainable, high quality relationship with Businesses.
Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to her / his team.
Review quality of work and manage integration of team members’ work.
Provide performance input to project team members’ functional management.
Build action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function’s business success to ensure delivery against strategy of the function or team.
Ensures the company’s strategy roll-out into her / his own team.

As a functional lead, you are responsible for assisting Business of his / her functional domain with the design and deployment of their SAP solutions. As functional experts, He/ She will help lead the Business in the build, testing and deployment of their SAP solution and associated business processes.

Practice Development

Proactively acts to understand business needs and offer solutions that align across business units; responsible for the vision of teams; strategic understanding of how his / her team contributes to the business strategy.
Assist with all aspects of a deployment including (but not limited to): requirements gathering, process configuration, documenting process flows, user interface configuration, user and supplier set-up and testing support.
Has deployment responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the various deployment phases.
Act as a liaison between the business and various groups within her / his own domain
Support cross topics / integration outside of his/her management scope both in project delivery and application support
Cover Application Support of his own his / her domain.

Customer Focus:
Responsible for customer satisfaction during the successful deployment of solutions.
Establish credibility as a conduit for solutions expertise with Businesses and is seen as an expert.

Domain Solution Expertise

Must have at least 15 years of experience in SAP EWM Module. At least 10 years of experience in 3 -5 full life cycles of SAP hands-on EWM configuration experience
Must have at least 5 years of experience in SAP WM Module. At least 5 years of experience in 1-2 full life cycles of SAP hands-on WM configuration experience
Project focused working environment experience
Influence the business’s opinions and decisions leveraging proves best practices.
Assist customers through the lifecycle of an SAP implementation.
Builds solution, business, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources


Project Delivery

Support the blueprinting process, gathering customer requirements and expectations (BRD process)
Support the design process with customers leveraging SAP’s best practices as appropriate.
Assist customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage SAP solution functionality / template being deployed.
Influence the opinions and decisions of Businesses, leveraging SAP best practices
Assist EAS projects through the lifecycle of an SAP implementation

Application Support

Ensure respective team resolves incidents and complete service requests to the agreed service levels (SLA)
Schedule team activities, monitor team performance, provide responsive team action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests.
Oversight activities of her / his domain
Successfully execute tasks and activities at all project phases and build an exemplary track record in providing customer satisfaction.


Ensures individual and team compliance with all policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security. Follow established governance processes and standards.



Effectively manage his / her own domain area in order to achieve tactical and strategic goals in both project and application support areas.

Management experience in managing of 5-10 team members

Minimum Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in business/computer sciences or Master’s degree in any science
– A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the domain as consultant / consulting background and/ or experience in shared service centers
– Industry expertise in automotive/ heavy manufacturing / spare parts
– Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops with strong facilitation and presentation skills
– Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify project risks and issues and to solve them applying strong analytical and problem solving skills
– Ability to travel globally 40%.
– Visa free travelling globally
– Fluent in English

Qualifications that are a plus:

– Work experience as consultant
– SAP WM, EWM experience
– Global project delivery experience
– Work experience using project management methods (e.g. PMI)
– Work experience with BPMN methodology
– Demonstrated ability to successfully work with multi-functional teams
– Knowledge of other languages
