The main target of this role is to ensure the product area is developed as part of the overall product vision, and meets its key targets. As a member of the Product Board, Product Area Directors work closely with the CTO, CPO and CINO ensuring overall alignment around the product strategy and roadmap with their area. As key leaders in the Product Development Organization, Product Area Directors – together with the Tech Leads – will ensure that Dev teams, PMs, UX and Data teams work well together on their joint targets.

Main tasks and duties

 Be the team leaders of the Area Product Managers.
o Build and develop their capabilities and professional skills.
o Ensure that the leaders managed by them are representing the company values

 The Area define success KPI’s and measure against them:
o Making the product Area define goals that are approved, and are measured, and are used to drive decision making.

 Review and feedback product development progress in her Area:
o Making sure at least bi-weekly demos of the development in the Areas are presented by the Areas PM’s (or team leads) attending them and providing feedback.
o Final decision maker of product management and UX decisions in the area in front of the area PM’s and UX. Area decisions can only be overridden by the CPO, CINO, CTO

 Making sure client needs are represented in the Area:
o monitors our “exposure to client” culture, seeing that clients input is driving development decisions

 Ensure PMs in the Area work according to the product cycle and rollout milestones:
o All products are developed and rolled out according to our product cycle and GTM process: Project research, selection, narratives, prototypes, MPP, full product, stage 1,2,3.
o making sure Demos to the product board are held at the needed milestones
o Product management workflow is aligned with the development process

 Building, communicating and maintaining the Product Area roadmap:
o Working with the PM’s and UX in the Area to build a client facing roadmap, and merging it together with the roadmap

 Providing feedback to the Area Tech Lead regarding operations of the Area and SLA’s:
o Making sure product managers are aware of the operational and support issues of the products in the area and relaying this feedback to the tech leads to reach resolutions.

 Responsible of product adoption of his Area:
o maximize the value customers get from the Area, making sure adoption metrics are generated and provided to the general measurement service

 Commercial ownership of the revenue behind the Area
o Making sure the product Area contributes to the revenue goals, accelerate growth and ensure the continued success of its customer base by measuring adoption of the features in the area that belong to advanced or premium packages or sold as add-ons.

 Be the evangelist of her Area:
o Research on the product domain, challenge PM’s knowledge, review the product marketing materials, know how to demo and how to talk about the products, speak at events, and write for the media

 Part of the Product Board
o Cycle planning: collaborate and agree on cycle timelines
o Cycle milestone delivery: Present at the cycle milestones, provide feedback to other areas
o Cross areas collaboration: Support cross areas product decisions by representing her Area
o Product vision and roadmap: collaborate with other members by providing the area roadmap and giving feedback to others.
o Operation product leadership projects or processes: own specific operational projects or processes requested by the CPO, present progress to the board and give feedback to other owners.

● Experience and requirements:
○ 3+ years experience in a Product Management role (online marketing, SaaS is an advantage)
○ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
○ Relevant people management skills
○ Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills
○ Capable of working independently across cultures in a clear and structured manner
○ Excellent English language skills
