Outplacement is a kind of device of human politics that provides help for displaced employees and employers to handle the psychological, social and legal effects of layoffs. Outplacement helps the displaced employee to find a new job, rebuild confidence as soon as possible and also helps to see and understand the actual strengths and weaknesses of displaced employee. The aims are to minimize the costs of downsizing employees, to consolidate the aspect of company policy with social responsibility.
